is it worth sending an older xlt out for repairs or just buy a new machine.

What is wrong with it and have you called White's for an estimate? I have an older Spectrum that I drowned. When I called White's it was a 125.00 flat rate repair.

Without knowing specifics it is pretty hard to give you a solid answer. Even if we gave you an answer, we have no idea of your financial situation.

There is no audio anywhere coming from my machine. I have gone through the manual and still have no success in find an answer

Whites does great work and thats a fun machine.
Likely a corroded jack or broken wire.
Trade you a Classic SL 1 + $$ for it. :-)
