Default Some live and not-so-live ammo

Long time no post..of findings. Yesterday I spent some 6 hours on a real field trip with few fellow detectorists. Our target was two ww2 campsites. First site was known to date from 1944, immediately after ceasefire with Soviets. All Finnsh troops were withdrawn to the vicinity of the new border and stayed in position for several weeks. Second site was from 1941, around the start of the Continuation war. This was a sort of pre-war defensive position with trenches, arty positions and such.

As you can see most of the finds are live ammo. An interesting fact is that even though couple rounds were so corroded that there are holes in the casing..the powder is still okay. I tested it just few minutes ago.

3 buttons, two are pretty generic ones that couldäve been in civilian clothing but one is definitely a uniform cuff button. The nice find was that little bell. Lump below it is the remains of the clapper, dunno why it's mostly iron when the bell is brass. Maybe it had been repaired?

Right of the bell is the odd find. Okay, it is a half of a rifle casing but what is odd that there seems to be a wire soldered around the other end of the case. A cigarette holder maybe?

What is not pictured are the bomb and art shell fragments we found...some were quite large..there are some driving band pieces below the buckle. There is one dud bomb in nearby field but we didn't find it...below the plough depth so pretty harmless..
