I haven't been out in a while...did the penny pitcher retire? This is literally all the change I found this morning!

That IS very odd though huh?...With all that other clad you shoulda easily pulled 20 of the things! You may very well be the first to experience some sort of Polar Clad Shift....see if theres a pattern developing on your future hunts...let us know...
 
If you went to the big beach then you are lucky to have what you have. That beach is sanded so I am guessing most targets are deep. Glad you are getting out. Me too, been off the beach for a while but I am getting back to it. Better luck next time.
 
Given the decay rate of zincolns in the soil, I can't image they would last too long in the salt. They probably disintegrated already.
 
On a good day at the beach I ONLY find 20-25 of those pennies. On a bad day it may be 50. Come help me clear that trash off my beaches.
