I found this World War II Sterling ID bracelet on a tiny beach in a small local swimming hole. I looked up the name and number online found the whole family and was able to return it to a grandson all the way across the country from here in Florida. It was really nice. Sorry for the small picture .

You funny KingTot. What's really interesting about that bracelet is he lost it before the existing family he has was even born. They didn't know anything about it .They couldn't figure out why it got lost where he was because they'd never been here. Makes you wonder. After doing some research I found out that GIs used to give those to their girlfriends. Must have been an old girlfriend because he didn't marry her.
