At some of the beaches I hunt, with tons of black sand, in the swash zone there are millions of gold flakes floating around. I've heard of guys panning it, maybe I should start selling sand...

Long Island was formed by the North American Glaciers receding. There is black sand all over the place and beaches. Could gold have been pushed all the way down to here from Canada by way of the glaciers?
