My favorite place to research. Lots of older gentlemen there in the mornings. They know all the old swimming holes, ball fields, picnic groes and such. Chances are they know the owners too. Try it some time. You might be surprised by the results.

Not sure which you mean? There is one on Ocean Street where Hwy 17 ends as you come into town from San Jose and then there is a Ferrell's on Mission Street (Hwy 1) as you out of town towards San Francisco.

Oh yes, I have experienced the value of talking to old-timers...also, I just love to hear the old stories. I haven't tried the donut shop, but it makes total sense.
