Dilek from Nokta/Makro confirmed Makro will have a new waterproof detector to be released this year.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you probably know about the Equinox being released later this month. It's all the rage even before it's released.
Fisher also has something in the works, but they're pretty tight lipped about it. If you read enough forums you see bits and pieces leak out, only enough to know it's being field tested right now.

After ML rake in the £ from the Equinox, they'll defo be upgrading the CTX with the new tech, I'll take one of them please.

The Quest pro is also going to debut this year. It too is a waterproof detector. It will have different frequencies to choose from.

Whatever you just bought, you can bet that there will be a new improved model coming out to make yours worth a lot less.
