I just tested a few war nickels on the Deus as well. they also ring up all over the place, from 54 to as high as 88, So it is indeed not just the minelabs. I made a video with the CTX and the Deus. May take a while to load with my slow Satellite internet.

Well this may be a problem for you as well. Low Tone 12-13 to Zinc Penny tone 12-30 I even had them read higher.

Depends on what kind of tones you listen for. Remember those Indians are lower than the Zincs.

For IH's I use the Exp II because I don't care to hunt using the VDI #'s. Easier for me to use a cursor, like a bullseye. Cursing the VDI's. The Smart FInd feature I love. I am trying to learn more of the eTrac, I like it's potential.

I found a war nickel at 12-24 last week. Checked all of mine last night. 5 of them right between 12-11 and 12-14 the other rings up 12-24 I think it's an s mint mark.
