I wasout scouting today and rolled up on an abandoned house at the end of a cul de sac in the old part of town, and noticed a bunch of old trash and bottles along the side of the valley. I found a bunch of plates with gold edges from Japan, grabbed what I could carry and took off. I will be going back for sure.

Great score! Yeah, it pays to keep an eye out for toss offs in the alley or along the curb!

Great finds. Send a picture of the backside of those plates? I may be able to ID the marks.

Not completely worthless. Replacement.com prices are WAY high, but you can get info on the pattern based on the number on the back. Search eBay for Noritake Oriental and then look at completed to see what they are selling for.

DK about the Noritake china, but the bottles look like 1940s and the Dr. Pepper can is early-mid '70s.
