Out on a club hunt this morning. Lots of lead and clad. Scored a 44 wheatie and a 72 half dollar. Found 8 $1 coins left on a picnic table as I was leaving; lunch money, hell yeah! 😀

What ? No gold rings ? We're bored. Just kidding ! I love the green patina on the copper doohickies

How does one leave 8 perfectly nice & shiny $1 coins on a picnic table? Maybe it was a confused Craig and he thought they were Felix pennies? :p

Nice hunting and eyeballing those tabletops! I'll tell you something...Even when I'm hunting in a totter, my eyes are employed for the scores...even looking up under the structures to see if anyone stuffed a stash..This is a full sensory spectrum kind of Sport...Love your post!

Thanks everyone. While I wish they were gold rings, I'll take the free coins. Mud puppy is right, keep your eyes open when detecting. Surface finds or in my case, table top finds can make your day.
Finders keepers! HH! 🌝
