I have been going nuts with this thing. I started System Mechanic 6.0 Thursday evening to do a DEEP DEFRAGMINTATION of my hard drive "C" partition. This type of defrag can take several days to complete. but the benefits are that the normal fragmentation that we all experience becomes almost nonexistant. At this time, it is 52 % complete. LO & BEHOLD !!!!!!!!!! Firefox is now behaving the way it should !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of the avitars are up as well as posted photos !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Internet Explorer 7 is also functioning properly !!!!!!!!! My computer is no longer doing things on its own, like restarting, or just going squirley. The world has gotten good again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bottom line: I highly recommend doing this if you can at least once a year, especially if you have a high end system and a huge hard drive. Multiple re-installs of some programs can do things that you can't correct by normal means.
