First thing I dug today was a 14k ring.

Then all I could find was some beat up clad and cans. Wasn't a lot of good signals but there were sure a lot of iron on the beaches.

:dingding: I always prefer digging the gold early. It takes the pressure off and makes the hunt more enjoyable knowing you're looking for the 2nd gold. ;)

Its been a tough year so far. Lots of rain here on my days off so not doing much detecting
