Its one of a bunch of mounts on the walls of a hunting lodge we stay at in NE Wisconsin. Here are some more.

Thx for sharing ! I'd fall out of my stand if some of those came by me.

I may be mistaken, but that #4 pic of the huge non-typical has been duplicated and goes on "tour" to some of these outdoor shows. I am almost certain I've seen replica's of that deer at the big outdoor shows..

again, thx for sharing.

The place is in Fence. My family is from Armstrong Creek. We don't hunt at this lodge. We just stay there during family gatherings. The family hunting shack is a few miles out in the woods. I think most of these mounts are reproductions of famous deer, but they are still pretty cool.

This place is an old farm. The upstairs of the barn was converted into the lodge. The whole place is fenced in and contains a number of trophy deer. You decide how many thousands you want to spend on what size animal and just wait for it to amble by or come to a feed pile by your enclosed stand. It isn't very sporting, but whatever. People can rent the place in the off season. It sleeps almost 20. One of my uncles married one of the daughters of the family that owned the old farm. He handed down to me thier old moonshine still and worm from the depression. Here is a link to the lodge.
