Okay this is a prizeless fun guessing game, if you want :)

Dug this up today. It definitely has a quarter and a nickel in it.

Could something else be holding it together in between?

Could it be more than one thing in between?

Take your best guess! I will post what it is, if anything, tomorrow :)

I love corralized coin-blobs. I've gone some that I've never broken open, just to keep for my displays :)

Yours appears to be very new. I'd say a clad nickel and clad quarter.

If you ever get them at bedrock (after storm erosion, etc...) , they seem to start from a few nails or a big iron spike. That leaches out and creates a corral formation (resembling a charcoal briquette) . And have seen where silver coins are sticking out of the sides. And need to be hammered to open up :)

Yeah I too have some really cool old ones in my treasure display :) My post did say that there is a quarter and a nickel in the bunch but something else is in there too. The something else is what you're supposed to be guessing :) I'll post the answer later tonight, it surprised me as to what was inside!

There was a quarter and nickel showing but what was in between was another quarter, another nickel and a crappy penny!
