This has been a good summer for hunting for me. I'm only able to get out for an hour here and there, but the effort is paying off. July 4th an hour hunt produced a 15 gram silver pendent and a 10k gold bracelet. July 5 was a 9.9 gram 14k white gold ring. And last night I got out for an hour for another short hunt.

In that hunt I dug up a 1941D wheatie and then I got a 20-21 signal for a target just below the surface. I'm thinking zinc penny. But out comes not one, but two pieces of James Avery silver, a cross necklace and a charm bracelet. They're both in great condition and the clasps aren't broken, so I'm thinking someone took them off and put them in their pocket only to lose both at the same time. They weigh just over 34 grams.

My grandpa always told me that if I wanted to find anything good I just had to get out and swing the coil, swing it enough and lost things become found things.
