New 12" Super coil on a DFX

Was wondering how much better or worse would the new 12" Super coil be on a DFX when hunting for rings and coins? Anything special too listen for? Will the 12" balance and find more than the stock 950? Any stories to share on having the new Super 12"???

It's a fairly new coil. I haven't even got mine in the mail yet.

From talking to one of the testers here in California, this coil will ouperform the 1400DD in low/mild mineralization. In highly mineralized ground, the 1400DD will outperform it.

Thanks Rudy, but just how much better is is than the 950 basic coil that comes with the DFX???
