Went back to a playground tear out in jl1252's area. They hadn't done much more work since the last time I was there, but I went back over some areas I had detected before. It was hard detecting, lots of iron and difficult to pick out good signals.
Managed to find a '47-S Rosie, a '46-S wheat , a 45-70 case, maybe a lipstick tube(?) a odd lead/brass tennis themed piece, and a really beat up old McGill's brass goods tin. Some other bits and pieces, lead etc. The Rosie was a tricky signal, very similar to a iron false. I was digging a lot of varying signals in hopes of coming up with anything!
Last time I was there, I found the little unmarked silver ring (which broke as I was cleaning it) and a pocket watch bezel. Saw jl1252 at this spot a couple times and that was cool Will be a week before I can get back there probably...
