Coinstar poops out the oldest yet!

I sure wish I had found this with my detector, but I'll take it anyway.
On my usual coinstar route I picked up an odd coin, but my eyes aren't good enough to see the date. Once I got home I discovered that it's almost two centuries old! So I did the research...

It's a 1826 Georgius IV copper half-penny.

This is the oldest coin I've ever found. Why the hell would someone toss it in the coinstar? Oh well, I'll put in a coin bezel for my daughter who loves every English.

That's awesome! I think the oldsest coin I've found in a coinstar is a 1993 dime haha. Contrast on the old coin!
 
Very nice. I checked a coinstar today and got a modern nickel and 2 pennies. Someday I'll find something good.
