Best find for me of 2017

I have to say I found a lot of sweet civil war relics and a nice 1796 capped large cent but I think my coolest find had to be this! I don’t really care for snakes but I couldn’t just leave it. The poor thing would have died in the cold weather so I now have a pet snake and he has grown on me.

Haha that’s a cool find. Ball python and was someone’s pet at one time. They are very friendly snakes. Just make sure you bring him out of his cage and put him in a plastic tote when you feed him (baby mice or mice). If you feed them in their cage they start to think every time you reach in it’s feeding time and can get a bit aggressive. I had one when I was younger. They can be real finicky eaters, mine would only eat white mice for what ever reason. I like how the markings on them can look like ET. Lol.

When i first met my wife, she used to breed snakes (unbeknownst to me) and also had a tarantula and cats. I remember her opening this large container and pulling out a ball of snakes...literally. It was 4 or 5 ball pythons, all knotted up and she was intentionally making them strike her hand. That's when I knew she was insane and we were meant to be.

We are now married. There are no snakes or tarantulas...or cats. I hate snakes but cool you rescued that one.

Yeah! You could probably get $100 for that snake! Is that what they are going for nowadays? I lost track years ago what a nice BallPython retails for...Thats a great find!
