Might be worn down to nothing but I don't care :D I'm so happy I haven't tried to clean it too nervous lol but finally got my first Mercury dime 1918 in the same place I found three silvers yesterday and the Buffalo the day before all with the small coil on the at pro I'm so curious if the e-trac can sniff out more when better weather comes this way anyways GL and HH

Yes the etrac should find deeper coins that your AT pro will miss, but heck your finding silver every hunt why change it? Congrats on your first!

Congrats on your first merc.
It should clean up nice but I'll let the experts chime in on how.

Here is what will happen. Now that you’ve found the first, you’ll be barfing up Mercs left and right. It’s just how it happens. I agree with Cellr,if what YOU are doing is working,do that. The etrac will not just FIND,but IDENTIFY what you have when it’s deeper better, but the AT will likely “see” it. This is where it counts...deep coins. In the meantime congrats on the first of many!

Yeah that's what happened to me with silver Rosie's I found one than a ton all the sudden every time wishing for a Merc and today I seen the back and I just smiled and said finally

Congrats on your first Merc !!! Yes, the Etrac will definitely ID silver at deeper depths than the AT Pro. The Etrac is hard to beat on deep silver !!!

Congrats on your first Merc. It looks like your doing quite well with the ATP. But also its a given to go back over with the Etrac. After hitting a site numerous times with the AT, stock, Storm and 5x8 coils I went back when I got my Etrac and in two hunts I managed to dig 19 more coins including my oldest IH-1883 a 1914 Buff and a couple of older Mercs. Keep digging, that site has more to give for sure. HH Mark
