I found this enscribed metal nameplate and did some research on it. William (Willie) M. Clark was born in 1865 and died in 1946. He was a farmer all of his life. The census data states that he was a market farmer. The vegetables he grew were sold at the market.

I like it when such items have either a name or date inscribed on them. That's a neat find with some history behind it.
