ENDED - Scoop Contest Phase 2 is HERE!!

Finally got the new scoop on the beach.

I got called for jury duty the last 4 days. I tried to get out of it by saying Your honor I just got a new scoop and I have to go to the beach.

Didn't work, anyway the scoop likes it here on the Treasure coast.

A little warmer than Warren, Michigan (I like that name).

Had its' maiden voyage or broke it's maiden as they say in horse racing.

Landmark on the beach, does anybody recognize it?

This baby is superlight. It was low tide and I was digging in ankle deep water, scratch that, wet sand. Can't go in the water with a detector in this area. Using my HHPI pulse I dug some old iron targets. Heavily encrusted screws or nails. Here I dig everything, the deeper the better. Edge slices thru compacted sand and shell easily. Beach conditions are not the best right now for sand erosion, the wind is from the south-southeast and we need north-northeast winds.

This site is where the 1715 Plata Fleet Capitana treasure ship came ashore.

It's going to get a lot of visits by Mr. Stealth.

Other note. Four walkers went out today. All should see them on Monday. Still black. I never clean my silver. I also don't check dates so I have NO idea what I sent to who.

I do know I sent walkers though. Congrats again to all and I hope you enjoy them or the value they bring.

Hope to contribute and see lots of great beach finds from everyone.
Here is a few from that spot on 1 December day, I was late to the goodies and had to settle...
