Old Coin...help me identify it

Went out today and found alot of clad and this old coin. I had no idea what it was when I found it. It was thin and bent in a couple places. I got home and tried to flatten it out and clean it up. Anyone help me identify this? Can't make out anything on the front??? Thanks..

Sweet find, no matter what it is. I think it is of the same period, I wouldn't flatten it or clean it until someone can figure out what it is. your oldest find will more than likely need to be changed
