Tropical Storm Gordon

On July 4th I watched the fireworks from a popular NW Florida Beach. All evening long I watched people drop things like keys and phones, and probably coins, into the sand. When I arrived to work on July 5th, I sat there and kicked myself all day for not taking a vacation day to detect the aforementioned beach. I promised myself that I'd never make that mistake again. As a result, I took a vacation day to detect the beach today after the Labor Day weekend, but Tropical Storm Gordon has ruined my plans. It has been absolutely pouring here since about 7AM. :mad:

the storm location and path could likely strip sand from your beach. If I were you, I'd watch the path and local condition hour-by-hour and the very minute you can get back out, call in sick!
