Found inside an Ebay order box(not a md find)

I ordered an item from Ebay and inside the box I found this unknown item that somehow found its way into the box. It has absolutely no connection to the item I ordered. It 4.5" long x 3.5" wide at the top and weighs 5.7 oz. If you know what it is, please let me know. Thanks

I'd say it's the electric motor for an automatic tape roller.

Did you purchase come from a company or private person?
If it's a company they have automated packing machines that would use something like this.
If from a private person... well... my guess is probably wrong.
 
100% No question about it... Ignition coil for a "coil on plug " ignition system (99%of the cars today)
 
Yup like everyone else said, ignition coil, be sure to thank the Ebay seller for the free gift! :lol:
 
Well I sit corrected....
Had to look it up, but you are correct... Ignition coil..
I'm old school and don't, wont and can't work on the new stuff...
Like they say.. learn something new every day.
