Finally got my new detector today, but had to work late and could not take it out and play with it. I was surprised by how small the box is. Can hardly wait till tommorow.

Let us know how good it works. Planning to get myself one soon and would really like to know the in and outs/ good and bad of it. Hope it does you well!

Hay Drsmithtft,

Congrats on tha Cibola.

I hope you're gonna like it as much as I did when I got mine.

I used to have a BH Quick Draw II. Then I got a Garrett 500.
Then I went through a couple of old Fishers real quick. I got
frustrated. I gripped at tha dealer. He sent me a Cibola. He
said, " try this, if you don't like it, send it back. If you like it,
send me $285." It was like new. It had the factory battery in
it, and it was almost fully charged.

A couple of hours on my first hunt, I new I liked tha machine.

I have 5 Tesoro'es now.

I don't know what kind of hunting you do, but here's my 2 bits.

Tha Cibola is very sensative to small gold jewelry. It can get
great depth on a small woman's gold ring.

Here's an example. My 15th gold ring this year. This tiny ring
on my little finger is only 0.90 of a gram. It's 14k yellow gold
with a tiny diamond. I wish it was a larger diamond. One a
these days it will be.

Tha Cibola will air test that ring at over 4".

I don't know if you are aware, but that is very impressive.

I do not use supper tune except for areas with little trash
or ground interference. Mostly for relic huntin.

I tune the threashold to a slight buzz. I keep the sensativity
up as high as I can stand it. Usually in tha red, or at least 9.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog
