Have a friend with battery problem

Here is the short of it , his battery on his minelab machine doesn't keep a charge. It a little over a year old . Minelab won't replace it said warrant only 6 months on battery's , said go back to Kelly co what will they do for him

Go to your local Interstate battery store. I know the one in my area carries all types of batteries as well as rebuilds battery packs for all kinds of different electronics.

It's worth a try to touch base with KellyCo if that's where your friend bought his detector, only takes a quick email or phone call. If nothing there try Minlab again, ask if they'll prorate a new one, someone's got to stand behind their sale, at least one would hope. Good luck to your friend.

Buy a new battery. Or see if batteries plus can rebuild it. I had one of my Whites batteries I use on multiple machines rebuilt for less than a new battery. Still going for 2 years now :yes:

Some Interstate batteries will also rebuild battery packs.
