My co workers wife is Thai...she says its a 1985 1 baht coin. With today's exchange rate, it's worth 3.3 cents.

It's not something I find everyday, but I've pulled a half-dozen of those out of my own elementary schools. Foreign coins are rather prolific in the yards out here. Lots of people in our area travel foreign and bring back coins for their kids... and they get lost from their pockets.

It's an odd day at an elementary school for me to not find at least one coin not from the USA.

I used to categorize them and look them up, now they all just go into a cool-whip container. LOL
