What do Indian head penny’s read oh ace series detector. I never found one yet and want a heads up.
Thanks Mason Petersen and HH

On my Ace 400 they come in at 78-79 kind of like a zinc penny. If its deep indians will ring up a little lower. Or deeper older wheats will fool you with that same range.

Why are People such !!!! Bags.

This might be the most common question known to man .
I find my self asking it to myself daily.

Yup zink penny range . That’s 1983 or newer if you wanna throw one down and scan it .
On older dirt I try to listen for deeper coin signals in that range .
I just love IHPs
I only find five or six a Wisconsin hunting season so each brings a smile o my face .
Here is also something I have noticed .
I have found some pretty nice targets going after IHP targets .
Often because it’s a good coin target I go after it .
After pulling a couple nails or a piece of foil from the hole ( that brings your tone and ID numbers down) those signals turn into silver .
Your detector is averaging the multiple targets in the same hole for ID purposes.
Your hitting on the coin target and it’s always a pleasant surprise to find some trash in the hole knowing there is likely a coin target still in there and odds of silver at that point go way up.
This barber half was found about 5 ft from an Indian I just diug .
It was another Indian signal and turned into one of my best finds this year.
Also took a 6 gram gold ring this year digging for a possible Indian signal .
Solid higher conductors on trashy old ground should be dug .
Happy hunting and when you find some please post them .
They are amazing coins .
I know this goes overboard as your question was simple .
Just something I have learned to help save some good ones from hunted out ground .
