Found this my first year of metal detecting. Never posted it and I'm bored at work tonight so here it is. Walking along the beach near my place with my old AT Pro and hit a 90-92. Thought I had a half but pulled this thing out of the gravel. Early 1900s I believe. Great Northern Railway. Hit it with a wire brush to clean it up. Wife wouldnt let me sell it. And I'm glad she didnt, I do love this old relic. HH and GL

Definitely glad I didnt. Put it on craigslist and got an offer from a museum in Oregon. Pretty neat.

You better not sell it. The nickname of that train was The Great Northern Goat! due to the advertizing back then. Came up here through Vancouver via White Rock Blaine border. :D Beautiful lock!
Cheers
