This belonged to my great granddad- we found four silver dollars- a 1889 morgan, a 1921 morgan, a 1921-d morgan, and this 1922 peace dollar. They have all been kept in a velvet pouch. This one and the 1889 are my faves-1889 was the year he was born so I figure that is why he kept it, and the 1921s are the year grandmother and my great aunt were born, and 1922 my other aunt was born:)

Too bad they aren't Carson City mint marks, right? lol.

I am pretty new to the coin thing, have a whole box of silver rosies and two barber dimes that he had in his jewlery box too, probably 40 total. Pretty neat to find though :)

Your silver dollars contain .77234 oz. of pure silver. At todays spot price of silver around 28 bucks per oz. they contain about $21.70 of pure silver value alone not counting the historical value.
