1922 peace dollar...

This belonged to my great granddad- we found four silver dollars- a 1889 morgan, a 1921 morgan, a 1921-d morgan, and this 1922 peace dollar. They have all been kept in a velvet pouch. This one and the 1889 are my faves-1889 was the year he was born so I figure that is why he kept it, and the 1921s are the year grandmother and my great aunt were born, and 1922 my other aunt was born

All fairly common dates... Roughly between $20 - $35 Maybe more if condition is very good.

Too bad they aren't Carson City mint marks, right? lol.

I am pretty new to the coin thing, have a whole box of silver rosies and two barber dimes that he had in his jewlery box too, probably 40 total. Pretty neat to find though

Your silver dollars contain .77234 oz. of pure silver. At todays spot price of silver around 28 bucks per oz. they contain about $21.70 of pure silver value alone not counting the historical value.
