simple mod to stop coil float when submerged in the surf
should fit most lower shafts
no added water resistance
no extra nuts, bolts or ties to install
no damage to your existing hardware
the ones you buy are not going to make you happy
if you felt the need you could make one for each side but I don't get that kind of beating in lake Michigan surf

disables without being removed when its out of the water
many suitable plastics can be used, some will hold a bend and some will need to be heated
