Interference using my Garrett Pro Pointer

I went out for a quick hunt this morning because I wanted to try my new Garrett Pro and start to learn how it works. I was sweeping an area and got a hit, took out my Pro and noticed interference over my head set.

Now this may be normal but I was thinking that they should not bother your detector. I could hear pulses in my ear from the Pro. I turned off the Pro and it stopped. I noticed I was about 3 foot away from my detector when I had it on and could hear the sounds. When I walked about 4 foot away it was gone.

So, just checking to see if all is well or not.
