They do look durable but I guess its just the welder in me that makes is REAL hard to fork out that kinda cash for something so simple.

Maybe it's just my ground but I can't imagine using anything but Sampson 31" T-handle. The tapered sides make it so easy.. I guess it helps that the length is spot on perfect for me, I have a 30" inseam. So bringing it to target and having my foot ready is one easy motion. T-handle is also ergonomically flawless.

Spot on !!!! I can not agree more with the Sampson 31 and/or 18 inch as nothing short of fantastic diggers !!!!

So how about you two exchange phone numbers and make a play date to discuss your inseam and Sampson’s. Other than that I appreciate you not hijacking my thread.

Thanks

So Ive contacted a couple dealers in the UK, and it's not looking like I'll be getting this tool anytime soon. But I have a few other feelers out, so we'll see what happens.

Sorry but we do not stock Black Ada digging tools at present.

Nice...did you get one?

Working on it, right now all they have in stock is the 26". I emailed them, and got a pretty quick reply stating he should have the longer version in stock soon. As well as the stainless steel models.

I did find a video by "Texas Tiger Digs" on YouTube reviewing the BLACK ADA Dagger Digging Tool (I did buy this one).

Link if your interested.
