I have been hitting this park for over a year off and on when I can. I have only found a merc previously before saturday when I pulled up a 1914 Barber dime and a 1964D Rosie dime. Both were about 3 inches down and 2 feet from each other. I dug the Barber first and then the Rosie right after. So I was pretty excited to find a spot that hasn't been gone over yet. The only 1964 silver coin that I have dig before has been a Kennedy half. Took me a while to find a '64 dime. Hopefully one day I can find a '64 quarter. The Barber dime is worn.

persistance pays off congrats

You are right! I have been there many times and got a lot of clad there. Ain't nothing wrong with the clad, but I knew that there was some older coins out there, just had to put the detector over them. Persistence is key to finding older coins here.
