A after work hunt at a 1880's farmyard made for a very pleasant and surprising hunt. A Silver Dime spill was the big highlight as I dug my first Barbers (1910 & 1915) and a "27" Merc in one hole only about four inches down. Added another Merc, a "36" along with 2 rosie's a "52 and a "56" to complete the two dime trifectas. Bonus was a pair of Washington Quarters ("36" and "51") to this take. The Eight Silvers takes the Silver coin take up to 52 FTY. The "36" Merc was #49 and also my 300th Silver Coin of my career. Also dug 7 Wheat's and my very first thimble along with 78 cents in clad.
Hope everybody had a good and safe outing. As always thanks for looking and commenting. Jack

Awesome!

That's the first double trifecta I've seen so far...

You just killed it there, major congrats!!!

<*)))>{

I've never gotten a trifecta before... I've never even dug three types of dimes... but you did it twice in one hunt. Now that is a hunt to remember. Awesome job on the silver coins! :)

Way to go, Jack! You're having quite a year! A double trifecta plus two Georges! What a day! One to remember for certain.

An absolute haul of silver ... well done. I know basketball has the term "triple double" for use when a player is having an awesome game, but you may have the first in detecting! Very impressive!!
