Hi Guys, I once found an awesome arrow head at a park! I just thought it was a"cool find", that was twenty years ago, in Wisconsin the State rules are tough to understand! and the Feds,"don't want to go there". any thing 100 years old is considered a Historical Artifact. Arrow heads(for sure) Most relics
from logging camps. They haven't taken our old coins(yet). The point I'm trying to make is. Why do we share our finds on this forum? I joined because I
have been detecting for twenty years and finally have folk's to share the hobby with! I detect because of the history and research involved in finding old coins and relics. JMO..C-Dog

In the UK, if the find is determined to be historically significant, the British Museum has first option to buy it with half the price paid going to the finders (MD'r) and other half going to the land owner.
