Zinc tag with Nr.

This is a woods find. It has the number 192. It looks WW2 :?:
No hole is present.

it was the most random thing that came to mind i could be way wrong i know nothing about cow number plates i did not even know they existed until i typed it in. for some reason cow came to my mind when i saw it like i said i could be wrong

Strangely enough ,some minutes earlier I had found a similar tag,but
I dismissed it into my trash bag,thinking it was some random piece of metal.No number on it.The place was a fairly new trees planted wood.But at those places you can find old things nevertheless.
I thought they were tree tags.But zinc was mostly used in WW2 due to scarce metals.
