Minelab E Trac not responding to targets

Was out detecting today and the E Trac will not respond to targets. I placed coins on the ground and no visual confirmation on the screen and no sound either. I turned the machine off, turned back on, same result. There is sound every time the machine is turned on . I have also reset to factory settings and still the same result, no visual or sound response when swung over any metal object.
Please HELP!!!

Problem solved

The coil connection cable had become disconnected. I plugged the connection back in and tightened the connection. Working like new now.
