Default I got down to Maryland today

I hunted a Gettysburg retreat spot today. We got lucky to find a huntable spot this time of the year. Thanks for looking & HH.

I know a relic and detecting store where the owner told me of a couple EBay sellers who told him something. "You just put (Gettysburg) in the title of the minie sold and they get more!"

That's one thing we folks up North miss out on. Very seldom do we get to find a spent 3-ringer in MA.

very nice! I live just west of Gettysburg. I've been hitting 2 civil war hospitals. they were hit hard over time.... but still giving up some really nice artifacts.

we were just east of Gettysburg in a creek Sunday. waste deep in the water, I pulled an old Samuel Windslow ice skate from 12" of mud. googled them. they only sell for $20-$30 dollars in nice condition. but dated late 1800's. id love to know the story on it. the farm house was built 1820's.
