Only had $40 on me, so I bought 40 in nickels because I'm trying to complete my Jefferson collection. Found my first war nickel ever!!! After 7,000 plus nickels!!I think this is pretty good for only 800 nickels!

1939, 1940 (3), 1941 (2), 1942 (Not a war nickel though), 1945-S (MY FIRST WAR NICKEL! Second row from the top, all the way on the right.), 1946, 1947, 1955-D (2), 1957-D, 1958, 1958-D (2). Plus a pretty nice 1964 that I'm swapping out for my old one. Generally speaking I only keep Pre 1960's.

good luck on filling your album. I have only 2 left to have a complete set and all are from circulation. Missing the 38-S and 39-D, but have the 50-D.
Silver is out there, I have found 6 silver Nickels this year so far and have 40 since starting coin roll hunting. Buffalos are out there as well.

My year so far:

Just found a 1927 Buffalo in an $80.00 Hunt!

I love nickels

I've done less than $200.00 in nickels and have found 3 silver nickels. Nickels are fun cause the dates are easy to read, and I don't think too many people are interested in nickels.

That is so interesting to me; before joining this forum, I'd never have thought about trading cash for coins at the bank. Cool! :)
