I can't really judge the size there but these are canister shot..

Keep in mind it could also be a milling ball. It seems to me like a milling ball But i hope its real.

Well I'm certainly no expert with these..the two I found I had ID'd locally by relic dealer.

yes it weights 1lb ,i put it on a scale so im guessing its a 1lb'r =)

There was also in the Civil War a Naval Canister. I'm not sure if it was bigger because of its' use so as to rip apart and splinter the wood frame and bulkhead of a ship or because a ships' cannons were always of such a large caliber the canister shot was larger. The Naval Canister was more so for destruction of a ship then ment for personal casualties .
