Today's finds.

Looks like my spot is drying up. Getting harder and harder to find any keepers. Only scored a few lead balls that's I have no clue what the age would be. Field has produceds everything from civil war buckles and a breast plate to modern junk. Don't have a clue what the things on the ends are. Just thought they looked interesting lol.

+1. thats what i was thinking before i saw this post. i dont know what kind of gun but i do agree its a gun piece.

Gonna have to do some googling now to maybe get a positive id. I know nothing about guns lol. It'd be awesome if it is off of a Spencer .

Pulled up the patent for the Spencer ........ close, but not quite .... from that era most likely ..... good luck with the ID

Still haven't figured out what it is. Did discover it has the number 20 on it though.
