Although iam in my infancy with this hobby, I was wondering if any of you have started a club, if you have, is it still around? if so what do you think has helped or sustained its existence?
If you have been part of a club that is no longer around, what do you think contributed to it demise?

How did you go about letting others with the same hobby know about your "new club"
how would you go about recruiting veterans and newbies?
And would joining the local Historical Society have any benefits?
membership Fees?
