Place your detector(s) in your signature block.

Doing so will speed answers to your questions as well as letting others see "where you're coming from" when you reply to a post.

Jimmy...I'm glad to see that the checklist is still a sticky. New members are well advised to read that one for sure.
 
How about a sticky for words that are always getting confused...

For instance...

metal and medal

advice and advise

Maybe I'm just neurotic... all those years of Catholic school and those nuns who harped on spelling, you know?

Newbie Question

How long do you have to be a MD'er before you're no longer a newbie?

I've been doing this for over 15 years and still don't know it all :D
 
That is one of the really neat things about this hobby - there are always new things to learn... either equipment, techniques, terrain, targets - to name a few. RickO
