I Call BS. That has to be a fake. 450 years old - no way. Nice try though.

Prior to calling BS perhaps a little researh and history leasson would be in order. Finds of this type are more common than you think in europe. Iron and bronze age predate roman settlements in the area. The oldest coin i have found in europe was in germany - a 54 bc roman sestarus. It was dated by an arheologist. That makes it 2070 years old . I have a post and pic of it on this site. 500 year old coins, While unfathimable to you are not so rare or un heard of in europe.

Hello kamgort,
is this one of the so called Denga silver coins?

Russian name - is "fish scale", just because these silver coins resemble the fish scales. :)
But in reality it might be "denga", which is half-kopeck, if we are talking denomination here.
it also could be "polushka", which is a quarter of kopeck.
I just have no time right now to look it up and give you an exact answer. :)

I dug one like this too when I was in Russia couple of years ago - http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=222024

Later "denga" coins were usually made from copper, I have pictures of couple of them from XVIII century in my post "Digging in Siberia".
