CW battle field today What is it?

I have found a hundred or so acres to hunt in the middle of a civil war battle field,also full of arrow heads and Indian pottery.
I went there today for about 20 minutes and found a few items. some look like horse shoe nails one may be part of artillery shell??
I'm going to try to upload pics first try at it. maybe this is just field junk I don't know.

A hundred acres gotta be some nice finds there waiting for you to come along.

That's grape shot...

They had canisters of grape shot that would explode above the troops. If placed right it could take down thirty men at a time. Nasty, but nice find.

I just looked it up on Google, sure enough, "Grapeshot".
Man this is so cool to find something buried for almost 150 years!
I can't wait to get in the field after the crops are off.
I'm still on crutches so I only covered about 8feet by 100feet section.
