It has been exactly TWO weeks since my last silver, quite the drought.
Luckily it's over:yes:
Today I hunted what I believe is an old picnic grove, now woods.

Hit at 12-40 / 12-41 and showing 8" deep on the 3030.
I thought it would be a wheat, hoping inside for a Merc.
1904 Barber dime:shock:

Also scored an 1881 injun with the most beautiful patina.

Man that's a nice drought busting hunt! Also a nice thick wedding band you've got there, I suggest never wearing that to the beach or lake! :pirate:

Those old recreation areas can be fun to work.

How far does this one go back and about when did it cease operation?

Are there any ruins of stuff like fire pits?
