OK,
This is the place Milco told me about Sunday where I found the '63 Rosie.
Now they removed all the turf and some dirt from the entrire football field!
Unfortunately, they took most of the coins too:mad:
Now I gotta search all the berms, yippee.
I did manage to get two wheaties ('45 and '46) and 7 golf balls!
Really nailing the golf balls, with over 15 this month:D

They ring up as a 27 on the PRO:D:laughing:
Actually they are just laying in the dirt here, or taller grass in fields.

That explains why they built the road to get the heavy equipment down to the field.

Here is a 1963 aerial of the field. I believe the field was built sometime between '58-'62.

Ya Matt dont make no sense you should have slaughtered that place..but even after being built in that time frame I dont think you will find much old stuff but who knows. Im sure they backfilled that place to build the stadium.

Nice

I bet those metal golf balls damage the !!!! out of the clubs. Lol

Nice finds. I have yet to find any old coins in my two months. ;(

Find out where they put the dirt. Some times they spread it back out on top when they finish a project.

How to find golf balls

He uses the "Golf Ball" process on his detector. You first turn it off and then you look around. It is called the "Eye Ball" process.
