Second item is for locking a building or maybe a trunk. A hasp (a thingy with a slot in it) goes over your piece and a padlock would fit through that loop on your piece.
The first item.... is that flat or curved inward? It kinda looks like an old speaker.

First is some type of clock or gage. Second, agree is for a padlock.

1st item is way too large for t- stat. & they dont have numbers around the edge. looks like there was something in
the middle that broke off ? 2nd item is

Yes, I didn't notice the size at first. It looks like the flattened bell part of a thermostat but that would be one HUGE thermostat
